Floral Park Neighborhood events are always enjoyable times that bring the neighborhood together.

If you have not signed up for the FPNA email blast, we encourage you to do so now, otherwise you might miss out!! Your email will not be shared with anyone. We may not be able to get a flyer out for every event, so email will be the best communication method for us.  To sign up, email enews@floralpark.com

FPNA Legacy Award Information Meeting @ 2121 North Victoria Drive
Sep 12 @ 8:00 am – 10:00 am

The FPNA Legacy Award nominations deadline has been extended. For details on how to nominate or any other questions you can visit floralpark.com INFO

We know that you are all busy with life and work but we really need your help. While the form is helpful for the selection committee, it might just represent more paperwork for you. So we are going to make it even easier for you! On Wednesday, September 11th at 7PM, Sandy DeAngelis  is opening up her home (2121 N. Victoria) for you to come over and talk about the Legacy Award. It will be an open forum where you can nominate someone and ask questions about the award and the selection criteria. Or you can send Sandy (sandy@historichomes.com) a quick email with the name and a short paragraph explaining the nomination.

We are looking forward to hearing from you!

FPNA Block Party & Chili Cook-Off @ North Park Blvd Cu-de-Sac
Oct 25 @ 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

It’s that time of year again!!  The Annual Block Party and Chili Cook-Off is set for October 25th from 3:00-6:00PM.   The location will be the North Park Blvd Cul-de-sac and Peanut will be rocking the house once again.  Join in the fun at this picnic-style event.  We will have the family style tables but you can definitely bring you own chairs and blankets, and additional food/beverages (alcohol not allowed) for your group as chili will be in tasting portions only.

All types of chili entries are encouraged.  This is not the pro circuit and there are no rules like beans or no beans, tomato or verde based, etc.  Just make your best chili and bring it on.   As usual the judging will be blind and awards will be for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place along the People’s Choice.

There will be an award for booth decoration.  So keep in mind the booth does not have to be western themed, it can be anything you want.  Get creative and have some fun!

If you want to volunteer and/or join the Committee just give me a call or send me an email and I will get you dialed in.  And if you want to enter the Cook-Off see the insert for registration.
